NVADACA Membership

Annual Membership dues are $20.00 per year from September 1 through August 31.  NVADACA is an approved non-profit corporation under section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, all donations are tax deductible.  Membership dues are not tax deductible.

Type of Membership

  • Regular Members are individuals who maintain their membership by paying annual dues.  Regular members are entitled to vote at all meetings or by proxy and can hold office.

 

  • AFCU Members are those individuals who join NVADACA to become eligible for membership in the Apple Federal Credit Union.  AFCU members are not entitled to vote or hold office.

Membership is open to all active and retired educators and members of the community who wish to support student athletes and are interested in the purposes and activities of the association. NVADACA provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors from public schools in Northern Virginia. These scholarships are funded directly from the outstanding efforts and support from our annual golf tournament, donations from members, interested individuals, student alumni, businesses, and estates.

Meetings are held from September to June. Most of our meetings feature an outstanding speaker of interest, often a well-known athlete, coach, or accomplished alumni of the school systems.
